School-Based Mental Health

Our School-Based Mental Health Program provides prevention and treatment to children and families who are experiencing emotional distress. By having school-based services, we seek to remove cost and transportation barriers so that many more children and families are able to obtain services that they may otherwise not have access to.

What is the goal of the School-Based Mental Health Program?

Our school-based clinicians provide prevention and treatment to children and families who are experiencing emotional distress. Our goal is to reduce truancy and behavioral problems by working with partners throughout the child’s system of care, including guidance counselors and health care providers.
