Mental Health Outpatient Services

Mental Health is a journey, not a destination.

Courage, reflection, love, acceptance and inspiration
are just some of the many stepping stones
on your wellness path.

ARISE is here to walk alongside you. You are not alone.

Our Outpatient Mental Health Services provide individual, family and group therapy to help adults, teens, and children build on their strengths and improve their overall quality of life. Psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychological assessments are available to all individuals enrolled in services.

Mental health concerns can impact every area of your life. Our licensed clinicians use a person-centered, strengths-based approach and will work with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your individual needs and helps you achieve your goals. Treatment is designed to:

  • Explore symptoms, stressors, and strengths
  • Develop new coping skills
  • Improve emotional, behavioral, and social well-being

Throughout treatment, you are encouraged to express your needs, desired outcomes and expectations of the services delivered.

What Is Telemental Health?

Telemental health means the use of real-time, audio- visual, interactive  video  conferencing  technology to provide clinical and non-clinical services

What You Need

For audio-only sessions, all you need is a telephone. For real-time video-conferencing, all you need is a smartphone or a device with internet and video access.  It takes less than three minutes to download the video conferencing app and start your  telemental health session!

Easy Access

The telemental health service available to you through ARISE will give you an appointment with a clinician and prescriber, via secure, protected and interactive audio-video technology, outside the four walls of our clinic. You will be able to speak in real time with your practitioner during your appointment just as you would in person at the clinic.

Is Telemental Health Safe?

Our telemental health technology is safe, secure, encrypted and functions within the same state and federal privacy guidelines (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act / HIPAA) as traditional, in-person appointments.

A Child’s Health is a 360° Matter.

Early Recognition Screening is a free program that uses the Pediatric Symptom Checklist screening tool. This tool assists in identifying possible mental health concerns with your children. ARISE will work with you to provide appropriate community resources for treatment.

Like an annual physical wellness check or vision exam, the mental health screening can help identify potential concerns before they become more challenging to manage.

Children who experience emotional difficulties can see an impact on their physical health as well as their ability to learn in school. Through our Early Recognition Program, parents can take action and pro-actively ensure that their child’s emotional and behavioral health needs are met.

What Can Parents Do?

  • Talk with your pediatrician
  • Go to your school counselor
  • See a mental health specialist

 How Does the Screening Work?

For the screening, parents simply fill out a questionnaire that asks how often their child exhibits certain behaviors. After completing the questionnaire, our licensed clinicians will score the screening and present the results to the parent/guardian. The confidential screening is not a diagnostic tool but rather a way to begin communication about emotional wellness.

If the results indicate that your child many have underlying emotional health concerns, our clinicians can link your family to services that are appropriate to your child’s current needs.
