Work Incentives Planning & Assistance
If you are employed, or plan to get a job, ARISE’s Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) Coordinator works with you to develop your employment goals and assists with:
- Writing a Plan for Achieving Self-Support (PASS). A PASS lets you set aside income and other resources for a specific period of time so you can achieve an employment goal
- Developing a plan that ensures work incentives and other benefits successfully support you and overcome barriers to employment.
- Identifying and guiding you in using Ticket to Work, and in putting work incentives in place
- Answering questions about how earning an income from working affects disability and healthcare benefits.
