ARISE & Ski
ARISE & Ski provides ski lessons and activities to people of all ages and abilities at Toggenburg Winter Sports Center in Fabius, NY. ARISE & Ski makes dreams come true for children and adults living with disabilities who want to take on the snow covered slopes at Toggenburg.
The program provides adaptive ski equipment that helps people of all abilities meet the challenge of the slopes. Innovative equipment is available and used in the lessons with the assistance of instructors and our volunteers, who receive thorough training from PSIA certified adaptive instructors.

Ski Lessons
Every Saturday & Sunday for 6 weeks in January and February, ski lessons are available for everyone. The goal is to teach individuals how to ski well enough using adaptive equipment so that they may join the regular ski classes or ski on their own with family and friends. Skiers graduate from the bunny hill to the more challenging hills, from intensive volunteer assistance to minimal volunteer assistance.
Family Fun
The ARISE & Ski program is designed for the whole family. Skiers in the program enjoy the exercise, independence, and camaraderie gained on the slopes. Families enjoy the opportunity to participate in a winter recreational activity where everyone gets to have fun.
ARISE & Ski is open to people of all abilities. Some activities have a fee. Please call (315) 671-3094 about ARISE & Ski upcoming events and activities.
Volunteering
ARISE & Ski depends on volunteers both in and out of the lodge, and we always need more. Volunteers of all skiing abilities are welcome, and training is provided. Not only can you help make dreams come true for skiers with disabilities, but volunteers receive a free lift pass for each shift worked.
