 Consumer-Directed Personal Assistance

Do you need personal assistance in your home to live independently? Would you like more control over the home care you receive?

ARISE’s Consumer-Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) gives eligible individuals who are receiving Medicaid-funded home care services the opportunity to hire, train, supervise, and terminate, if needed, their own Personal Care Assistant.

A Personal Care Assistant increases your ability to live independently in your own home by helping with everyday tasks, such as grooming, dressing, shopping, cooking, and housekeeping.

CDPAP gives you the flexibility to choose who provides your home care services based on a schedule that fits your lifestyle.
