ARISE’s Housing Advocate is dedicated to increasing accessible housing and to helping you protect your housing rights. We provide support and assistance with:

Housing discrimination
Landlords who are not willing to accept your service or companion animal
Referrals to community programs that help with security deposits, paying back utility and phone bill balances, and moving assistance
Requesting accessibility modifications in your apartment

Housing Advocates are available to help property owners learn affordable ways to make their apartments accessible.

We can also help you find an accessible place to live, and we offer specialized services if you are homeless.
