Day Habilitation Services
Are you interested in participating in fun learning experiences that help to increase your independence?
ARISE’s Day Habilitation Services help people with developmental disabilities develop, improve, or maintain their independent living skills. As a Day Habilitation participant, you create a plan for achieving your own goals for greater independence. You then receive support as you learn new things, such as self-care, social skills, housekeeping task, and money management.
ARISE offers two types of Day Habilitation services: Group and Individual. Both programs give you the opportunity to integrate in the community and develop skills through volunteer work, community events, and recreational outings.
Group Day Habilitation is offered Monday through Friday during the day at ARISE’s program site at 635 James Street, Syracuse. Although many activities take place at our site, regular outings provide plenty of chances to participate in the community.
Individual Day Habilitation can have a more flexible schedule, and activities take place in your home and in your community.
ARISE’s Day Habilitation services have certain eligibility requirements. Contact us to learn more about whether you are eligible for Day Habilitation Services!
