UNIQUE 2010
UNIQUE is an Art and Literary Magazine that shares the artistic visions and voices of individuals with disabilities. Art comes in many forms and the creative work published in UNIQUE includes poems, paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures, computer-based art, and mixed-media works. UNIQUE is published annually to display the creative work of artists with disabilities living in Central New York.
The UNIQUE 2010 Call for Artists is now closed. Thank you to the many talented artists who submitted work this year. The UNIQUE Editorial Board will have a difficult time choosing among over one hundred exceptional works which were submitted for consideration in the publication. As a reminder, all artists and writers will be notified if their work was selected for publication by August 31, 2010.
UNIQUE 2009 is available!
The UNIQUE 2009 edition features the art and literary works of about 70 area artists. Due to the record number of submissions, the magazine is four pages larger than the previous year in order to accommodate additional deserving creative work. The magazine was unveiled on October 14, 2009 at the Delavan Art Gallery, where over 130 people filled the gallery for the Unveiling Celebration and to see the 52-piece UNIQUE exhibit on display for that evening only.
