ARISE After-School Respite Available for Children with Disabilities
The ARISE After-School Respite Program has immediate openings for school-aged children with developmental disabilities living in Madison County. After-School respite provides safe, supervised, and fun activities for children with disabilities to give their parents and caregivers a break to finish work, run errands, or just relax.
Respite provided healthy recreation to encourage physical and social development. Activities take place indoors and outdoors (weather permitting) at a facility on Tuscarora Road in Chittenango. Individual schedules are based on each participant’s needs.
Contact Richelle Maki, Respite Program Coordinator, at 687-9185 to find out if you and your child are eligible for Respite. Openings are also available when the school year begins in September.
