In Her Own Words … a heartfelt message from a UNIQUE 2008 artist following the unveiling celebration …

The gift I receive was the gift of love, and to be with people who have disability, we are the same as others, even far better, for we know we are the same and can give our hearts to others and do the things that others can do.

The gift of love from all of you last night, was worth more the all the silver and gold in the world, the gift of sharing ideas, the gift of knowledge what others can do.

The gift of being there was a very honor thing for all, the gift of being told that your art work means something to people, was a gift of joy and love.

The gift of seeing your art work hung up for all to see, the gift of being in a booklet, wow oh wow, what a gift I receive and what a gift for others to enjoy the same thing.

I hope I get to do this next year, and to be able to see things, what I wish for all my heart is to get a more beautiful camera to take better pictures, but what I use was half price 5.95 camera, did a pretty good picture, but than god set in too, with the colors of the sky and the bird.

I had the time of my life last night, I shall never forget it, you made my life a little better in the heart and the soul.

I appreciate all you done for me, and for all the love you have shown to me and to others, I appreciate the fact, how good you are to all, and wish you all the happiness and joy of life and many good wishes, you be in my heart for life, and I will always remember you in prays too.

Love from teddy
