Peer Counseling gives you the chance to talk with people who have been in your shoes and have shared some of the same experiences.
How can Peer Counseling help?
If you are looking for a safe space to talk about issues related to your disability, our Peer Counseling advocates can help. By drawing on their personal experiences living with a disability, our advocates can provide you with peer support, guidance, and encouragement. Through participation in individual and group sessions, you can:
- Discuss issues and learn from others who are living independently in the community
- Explore your options and solve problems
- Maximize your ability to live independently
