Ramp Construction Assistance

Our Ramp Programs can help you reclaim access to your home. If you own your own home – or even if you rent – we can help remove the primary barrier to your ability to shop, go to work or school, attend doctor appointments, and be actively involved in your community.

Onondaga County

Our Onondaga County Ramp Program (Home Access Program or HAP) helps improve accessibility and independence to people who have a difficult time accessing their homes. To quality for the program:

  • You must live in the City of Syracuse
  • You must be income-eligible (must fall 80% or below the median income in the City of Syracuse)
  • You must have a mobility impairment that makes it difficult to access your home
