 Director of Quality Assurance, Corporate Compliance, Contract Management

Purpose:

  • To provide general direction to activities assuring
  • quality of the highest order in ARISE-provided services,
  • compliance with requirements of relevant laws and regulations,
  • systematic execution and fulfillment of contract expectations.

Reports To: Executive Director

FLSA Status: Exempt

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a system of periodic, regular and unannounced review of program operations in order to assure highest standards of ARISE operations, responsive to stakeholders' interests.  Regularly provide formal reports of results of such reviews. Provide the primary leadership function to any and all committees for review of incidents as required by regulations.  This function will include assignment of responsibility for investigations and coordination of reporting requirements.  The incumbent may conduct direct investigations with consumers and/or clients in an unsupervised setting; therefore, compliance with OMRDD and OMH fingerprinting regulations under Part 550 of Title 14 of the Codes, Rules and Regulations of the State of New York is required.
  • Develop policies and procedures, in coordination with the Director of Independent Living Center Services and the Director of Child and Family Services, in order to promote a workforce alert to, and ready to provide, highest quality services.
  • Develop a Corporate Compliance Program.  This program will require training of ARISE staff and will imply that the functions of this position will include those of a Corporate Compliance Officer.
  • Maintain system of contract management that assures initial execution, attention to required performance indicators and regular reporting of outcomes.
  • Participate in ARISE management team to assure that functions under the responsibility of the position are coordinated with those of others responsible for program operation and support functions.
  • Represent ARISE at local, regional and national forums designed to improve and develop functions under the responsibility of this position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Executive Director

Education qualification: Bachelor’s degree in human service related field; Master’s degree preferred

Experience qualification: Three to five years’ experience with functions related to this position’s requirements.
